Socio-environmental Actions
Renuka believes that as a socio-environmental responsibility, in order to guarantee the sustainability of business, its actions must provide the community with positive results, be they economic/financial, environmental, or social - preferably all three.
The company considers itself socio-environmentally responsible, and intends to act so that the communities to which it is related may enjoy and benefit from programs that empower, improve, and make people good citizens, aware of their rights and responsibilities.
Renuka do Brasil annually organizes several activities for environmental education that involve the community, students, NGO's, employees, and professionals from around the area. Partnerships with city governments and NGO's are made to realize events such as tree plantings, fingerlings releases, visits in reforested areas, and actions geared toward environmental consciousness.
